Im not a morning person and it takes a lot to get me out of bed at 4:30 but this sunrise experience was worth every second. The drive to the balloon launch area is very short from the center of town and they get the balloons up very quickly. By the time the sun rises, passengers are up in the air and the views are spectacular. Ride and landings were smooth. The peace and silence you experience when up in the balloon is like nothing else. The ride is smooth...just imagine a little bubble in the air. It doesn't shoot up like a rocket, and it doesn't drop like a rock. It is very smooth and gentle. Don't look down -- look "out". Be in the moment, enjoy the early morning's stillness, and rise to see all of creation. We added breakfast as an option after the ride, and we were not disappointed. Live Aqua treated us very well and served us an excellent breakfast. GiGi and the crew were outstanding and very attentive. There were several people on our air balloon ride and felt very cramped. My husband and I were separated and each had to ride with different couples as the balloon capacity was maxed out. The actual ride was scenic and beautiful, what to expect was thoroughly explained and it was worth seeing the sunrise from the balloon. I would not do this activity again, but I do recommend the activity is worth the cost. They try hard to sell photo packages but we were quite happy with the photos we took ourselves.
